I was thrilled recently to have been contacted by Reverend Aaron O'Donahue an ordained minister from First Church of Atheism. The Right Reverend was looking to perform his own Debaptism ceremonies in his own area. Rev. O'Donahue was asking permission to copy some of the Debaptism Certificate for his own version. I have to tell you, I am flattered that he asked.

I think having his own ceremony is a great idea! Getting together with some other apostates and finally shaking off the stain of a baptism makes perfect sense. You were baptized in a public ceremony in from of a bunch of people, why not provide a little symmetry when you remove it.

I think this should be spread far and wide. Every local atheist group should have at least 1 ordained person available to perform the ceremony at any chance they get! Here is the link to Rev. O'Donahue's web site. Church of Atheism
